Degree: B.S. Agribusiness Management and Rural Development, Public Relations and Equine Studies minors, May 2014
Career: Nicole works for Equine Network as a Trade Show and Project Manager. She represents brands, media, and roadside assistance programs all catering to the equestrian community. Nicole started her own media business after college, Gianni Equi Media, specializing in providing marketing and promotional services to companies and organizations within the equine industry. She worked with large shows such as the Devon Horse Show and the Pennsylvania National Horse Show as well as equestrian companies and tack shops such as Essex Classics.
Internships: The summer leading into her senior year at WVU, Nicole completed an internship at the Devon Horse Show, where she focused on the marketing the show via social media. After graduating she was asked to come back to Devon and soon became the Marketing Director.
WVU Student Organizations: During undergrad Nicole was a member of the WVU Western Equestrian Team and the New Member Educator for Alpha Omicron Pi.
About Attending WVU: “Take the few short years that you are at WVU to do and try out everything. You never know what is going to cause you find the right direction that will lead to your career. If you want to join a club or go Greek, but you aren’t sure; join anyway and then make a decision. WVU offers its students so many incredible opportunities in and out of the classroom and once you graduate you may never have the opportunity to try those things again.”
